About El Camino College
Students develop skills in welding ferrous and non-ferrous alloys in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. Students also acquire proficiency in blueprint reading, layout, structural fabrication, and pipe welding. Competencies will be assessed regularly in accordance with criteria established by the American Welding Society, the American Petroleum Institute, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the American National Standards Institute.
