• Prepares work to be accomplished by assembly, parts list, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
• Assemble and fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to specifications in a specific area of production line.
• Must be able to use a large variety of small hand tools such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, torque wrenches, and must be able to use mechanical measuring tools.
• Perform mechanical assembly work on machines and/or different parts of the assembly line.
• Ability to make minor repairs on equipment on as needed basis.
• Ability to have all equipment reassembled and ready for production startup.
• Must be able to disassemble equipment in a timely manner to prepare for sanitation.
• Able to perform preventive maintenance on production components
