Rubicon Programs operates the Eden Area America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) in Hayward California. The Eden Area AJCC is one of the largest career centers of its kind in Northern California and offers a wide range of free services and resources to job seekers. Job seekers may utilize the career center to job search on their own and take advantage of many services. For individualized services, one-on-one career counseling, job placement assistance and training opportunities, job seekers may choose to participate in the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) program that is offered at the center. WIOA is a federally-funded program designed to empower job seekers to meet the needs and demands of the labor market. In Alameda County, the WIOA program is governed by the Alameda County Workforce Development Board.
